Big Block Motor Mounts For 72 Again

I was on gmparts direct site today and found gm part#334601 for $21.81
these are towers and mounts part#3962748 for $75.98. I then called a local chevy dealer and he confirmed that part#334601 were 72 BB towers and he also said part#3962748 were the correct mount for BB if not an automatic.
Will they still work if a/t? Does this sound right to ya'll? Seems too good to be true.

when I looked up the 334601 it comes up as the engine stand for a '73 up.

Hmm. This is so confusing. I found it by inputting vehicles info under restoration parts. The other wierd thing is the dealer I called said it was for 72 as well. Thanks

LOL hard to say, I worked at several GM dealerships, and the parts guys kill ya. I spent more time waiting on parts than I did working.

I was looking on gmc pauls site and it looks like he stock mounts but no towers. Anyone know where to get some towers? I found an old thread that said some dealerships still have them on their shelves. It listed Cerritos ,CA as one of those dealerships but the post was from 04 and I can't find a Chevy dealer in Cerritos.

Come on guys and gals!! This seems to be one of the most misunderstood things on this board. If ya'll can't figure it out there is no hope for me.
