Rarest options

My two cents worth of information on the clock option........
I have been into 67-72 Chevy trucks for a good long time now!
I have a lot of factory books on these trucks, none list a clock as an option.

However I have seen a nos clock in the box, it was avalible as a dealer installed accessory in 1965 and later years.
I dont remember the part # for this clock but it is the same pod style clock that was only factory installed in the 1965, RPO (Z16) Chevelle Super Sport,
with the new for 65, 396 big block.
All other 1965 Chevelle's had a clock in the dash, but the 201 built (Z16) big block cars had a tach in this spot, so these cars left the factory with a pod style clock mounted on top of the dash.
The nos clock that I saw listed mounting instructions for all Chevy cars & series 10,20,30 trucks. But not for the Corvette.

So to sum it up,
this clock was only avalible as a dealer installed accessory in trucks not a factory installed option.

One of my trucks has a dealer installed GM compass, this also was never a factory option in 1967-72.
