missing #'s

Now that the block is decked, the numbers on the block are now gone. I want to keep this truck as matching numbers. Should I stamp them back in? Thoughts / concerns?

Re: missing #'s

No concerns to be had that I know of.

If ya want to keep it numbers matching thats good but is the block you used the correct one in the first place? Just a thought.

The reason I am asking is when judgeing at car shows and such goes on they check everything. In the stock classes that is, and I mean everything.

This is the reason I personally stay away from all that #'s matching jazz.

It can be a real headach I know because my Dad does it and I can't stand it. Not that I don't respect and love the concept or the vehicals themselves but the work and money thats involved in this area. (Keeping everything stock)

Plus since you have an engine such as you do I would guess anyone within earshot of it when you fire it up will know that it's not original although they are not running when they are judged.

I blabed enough on the subject so in conclusion IMO if you are not willing to go through with the whole ball of wax so to speak, there is no need for it. If you do enter your truck in any shows, enter it in a modified class and you will be way happier in the end. Just my thinking on the subject, Hope it helps RJ22
