Am I being too picky ?

they are out there but yes they are prone to rust in those areas. I bought an 84 GMC 5 years ago,clean as a pin, every option and just beautiful. Had 1 respray in its life. I parked it outside for 1 winter and that spring it had rust in the corners, rockers and over 1 rear wheel. I know it had not been fixed before because I am doing the body now and am dealing with virgin metal and have found no remnants of any body work at all and I am REAL picky. I have 4 hrs blocking one fender and I think it needs it again. The quality control those years was awful!
