Re: Burb trim removal

Jodie, there are push in clips that expand when pushed through the hole in the sheetmetal. If you need to save the trim, you will have to get behind it and pinch them together. I am doing the exact same thing on a 71 burb. I have a 10" needlenose pliers to reach up and squeeze them together. Also, some pieces of trim have a 3/8 nut on the ends. No easy way that i know of unless you don't care about the trim. Good luck, Eric

Re: Burb trim removal

THANK YOU!!! Im trying to get my truck ready for the body shop. Im stripping the interior myself, turned into a lot more "fun" than I had anticipated, lol I was hoping to save the trim in good shape as I know a couple people in the past have asked me about buying it when I took it off.
