I have an 04 trailblazer and am not very happy with the drive by wire feature. It takes the engine a bit of time to get going as much as you want it too. I would go with a regular throttle cable.
Yep it's out of a trailblazer...will be changing to a truck pan from what the boss is telling me!

Re: Killer has found the fountain of youth

That's a hell of a deal Killer, you'll also need the windage tray, oil pickup and dipstick for the truck oil pan also.

The windage tray is the splash guard inside the pan, and his might come with it.

The truck dipstick is longer, I think. I don't know if you'll get an accurate oil reading using a truck pan with a car disptick.

You will almost absolutely need a new oil pickup for the deeper oil pan.

I should have it all for him. Don't worry he will get taken care of.

That place looks expensive. Do their motors even include a tranny with them for that price?

Re: Killer has found the fountain of youth

The cover on Hart Rods can be found pretty cheap. I found a 3 piece one from a Vortec Max, cadalac also has a 3 piece. Those are pretty sharp they cover most of the wiring and fuel rails.
