Body lift seems to be skewed.

My new project has a 3" body lift and the cab/bed aren't lined up. I haven't taken measurements to see if it's one or both. The frame looks straight, so I suspect it's the body lift.

I was thinking of replacing the 3" lift with a new 2" lift, then replacing all the body/bed bushings. Is this a good idea, or should I toss the body lift all together and go 6" on all springs?

It's currently sitting on a 4" front spring/rear block lift with 35's.

I personally dont like body lifts period.My 71 had a 6" suspension and 3" body lift.After owning it but 1-2 days the body lift was in the trash.Its your truck,do what you want,but if it was me I would keep it off.I would remove the blocks from the rear too,but thats just me...

I was going to replace the blocks with springs, but it seems 4" springs are about the same as 6" springs. So if I'm going to spend dough on springs, I will go 6" all around and toss the body lift at that point.

I have never had issues with rear 4" blocks. I would never run anything bigger though. I also doubt this truck will see any heavy wheeling.

My lift I installed on the 71 was a 6" rear and 4" front lift configuration with all spring lift.I like the stance of it that way and the 35s fit and look good.
It was about $625 for the 4 springs,shocks,u bolts.

I was just looking at the shackle flip, I might have to go that route and ditch the blocks. I'll see if I can square the body lift this weekend, otherwise I will just toss it.

I say dump the body lift, they look dumb IMO.
