Re: Seat belts
I used ones out of a 84 burb without any problems. The only mod you have to do is trim some of the plastic cover off and slightly bent the mounting bracket to the angle of the floor.

Re: Seat belts
Thanks, 70GMCer!!! Any mods needed where the shoulder belt attaches? I'm thinkin of going w/ these, since it seems they're a little more abundant. Plus I like the stainless buckle look. Thanks again.

Re: Seat belts
I mocked a set up in my 72 that were out of a 86. Like 70GMCer said you will have to modify the plastic a bit.
I didnt really care for the way the retractors looked, I ,ve been lookin around at other GM vehicles .I might try a set of mid 80's S-10 belts, The unit has a clean looking retractor unit and there are lots of them in the junkyard.

Re: Seat belts
Can any of you guys that have used the 73 - 87 belts post a couple of pics of thow the retractor assembly mounts? I just picked up a set and it appears that I will either need to fabricate some mount extensions or try another type. Thanks!
