I lost a bunch of the build up pic's when my comp died a few years ago. I'll see what I can do but they will be only pictures of old photos if I can find some.

Details:

Engine is a 400 cu. Trans Am unit with a 292 comp cam, MSD, Protronics super coil with an ignitor p/up, Holley 650 db pumper, pwr. steering, pwr. brakes, small block headers running through a set of Flowmasters with 2.5 inch exhaust with con rod hangers.

Rear end Trans Am unit 410:1 gears.

Transmission is a 700R4 with Low Car stick with a tranny frame mounted cooler.

Front suspension is torsion bar.

Rear suspension leaf springs with lowering blocks and a 7/8 chrome molly sway bar.

Great looking.

What type of front end did you use to get the torsion bars.

Sweet looking truck. What color is that? I found a newer GMC color I like that looks green in the sun and black at night.

I made up the color. So it is just a formula. Your right it also is a darker green in the day time and @ night it turns to almost black.

I used a Gibbon's front cross member. It accepts a torsion bar suspension out of a bigger car like a chrysler Cordova. (11' rotors)
