WTB plastic piece accelerator

I melted the plastic piece that fits between the accelerator pedal bracket and the firewall. If you have one to sell Im in the market. Here is what they look like after you melt them, thought you might like the new look

I was welding in studs to hold the new accelerator pedel in after closing the holes for earlier model.

Anyway does anyone have the plastise bracket yo sell?

I might have an extra one, have to look around this weekend. I take it you don't want me to melt it for you...

Truck is 68 but the accelerator is 71/72 cable type mounted inside the cab, I only need the plastic spacer. Thanks for looking, Jim

Re: WTB plastic piece accelerator

Dude, is it sorta triangular with 3 mounting holes, and 2 locating pins. Do you want me to wait on shipping until your done welding? j/k

Also comes with a spider nest, rare option only available on 72's...... J.

Re: WTB plastic piece accelerator

Wornbrakes, I was welding in studs to the firewall because I did not want nuts or bolt heads on engine side. One of the old style pedal holes is in correct location for new style. Bolted pedal in place with good hole drilled second hole, placed and welded stud. Heat through hole got the plactic. Funny thing I was wondering why the wire was smelling like that.

J, will PM info
Ship the spider probably never had a vacation.
