Help - 1970 chev 1968 Gmc???
I have a 68 GMC lwb 4x4 and I just found out the frame is no good. I have found a 70 chevy lwb and I was wondering if I could swap frames???? Seeing as my fenders, inner wheel wells and doors need work too, I was wondering if the peices from the chev will fit.? Can anyone inform me before I buy the 70 Chev?

The frame will work fine.
All the body panels will work fine too, with the exception of the front fenders, hood, and core support. None of those will match up to the GMC parts. |

Re: Help - 1970 chev 1968 Gmc???
Just swappit!!.If you`d like to keep it GMC you`ll need to get`68 Chevy/68-72 GMC fenders. The Chevy is a 4wd,right?And you just want to swap frames and use some body parts, right?Like Longhornman said,if you`re not wanting to buy anything outside of this swap you`ll have to make it a`70 Chevy by useing the Chevy sheetmetal. To keep it a`68 GMC you just need fenders if all else is good up front(core support and hood).
