Updated pics - new "shoes"
Here's a pic with my new tires - Toyo Open Country M/T's 285/75/R16 (33x10.5x16) What a difference tires make! Here's the link for my original pics http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=216982

Re: Updated pics - new "shoes"
I got the wheels used from a friend. They're Progressive Wheels, 16x8. I think Progressive may have gone out of buisness. . Check your favorite wheel dealer, maybe they have some left over stock. Or try evil bay. Sorry I can't be more help.

It's the forging that costs so much. Incredibly strong, but rediculously light. The best of both worlds, but you gotta pay to play. If you've ever picked up a "baja" type OE wheel from a Super-Duty you know what I'm talking about. Way, WAY lighter than you think!! I think they are awesome, but I just can't justify that kind of money unless I suddenly become independently wealthy. On that note, buy all the AAPL stock you can get you're hands on. Later, Buddy

Re: Updated pics - new "shoes"
It's tough to find a nice wheel for these old Blazer's sometimes....that's not too gawdy! Those look great!

Re: Updated pics - new "shoes"
Those 285/75/R16s fill out the wheel wells nicely. Any issues with rubbing?

Re: Updated pics - new "shoes"
Th fronts rub a little, you can see where I trimmed the front of the fender. The weird part is it only rubbed on the passenger side. If I did any serious wheeling, I'd probably have to trim more.
