BigRED 4-way valve, where do I put it?

Just got a smokin' deal on a gently used 4-way BigRED valve assembly. Anybody here running one? I'm trying to figure out where to mount the thing. It's pretty heavy by itself, and once I get all the sending units for my digital gauge on it, it makes quite a footprint as well. I thought about mounting it on an auxillary battery tray up front, but that presents all other kinds of plumbing issues.

Just trying to get ideas. I don't have much to work with having a rolling chassis.

The guys at Stoked out built a tray for mine and mounted it under the cab. It out of the way yet still very accessible.

^ that' how we do most of ours. Build a tray and mount it off the frame-rails underneath somewhere.

I thought you had that setup N2TRUX! Thanks for the pics. I guess once I get the cab on I'll get to work on a tray.

Re: BigRED 4-way valve, where do I put it?

Can the Big Reds be split in half? I've got the older "small" reds screwed straight into the tank outlets (rear config has changed a LOT since this pic, but the valves are still mounted like this)...

Re: BigRED 4-way valve, where do I put it?

You're right, they can be split into 4 individual valves actually. And I'd never thought about mounting them that way. Leave it to you to have a different way of doing things! Thanks for the pic, it's something I will consider.

Re: BigRED 4-way valve, where do I put it?

They can be split up... but having them all in one cluster makes it easier to wire, plumb, and check for leaks (usually)!
