Re: anyone ever done so much work to a truck you dislike it?

Hey bro, if you want to feel better just read some of my threads and you should start to right as rain. Anyways look at it this way, with all of the blood, sweat, tears and bucks in your truck, to sell it would put a almost finished product in someone elses hands. Imagine running a race 100 miles long and you pass the baton to someone else at the 97 mile mark and they get the victory....*uck that! Don't give up now brother keep on truckin!

Yea! I got burned out on this 72 4x4 25 years ago! Yes TWENTY FIVE years ago. It's sat in a shed on the farm ever since I got it painted. The paint wasn't up to my expectations, wasn't able to do anything about it then so I quit. What a waste of a factory air, tilt, tack, 4x4 custom 10 pickup. I bought it in 1976.

Get it out, wash it & go for a drive! The paint should be dry by now...

Still have it?

Re: anyone ever done so much work to a truck you dislike it?

yep, i bought mine from an online auction. that said it runs and drives ! i found out it had been sitting for over 5 years and the gas in the carb and tank turned to powder ! and the rust was more than i thought.so i ripped it down to the bare frame and am doing a complete restoration. i still like the truck,i don't like all the time and money it costing. but i want it perfect so i'm not stopping till it is done. but i do get burned out once in a while ,so i work on my bike that always has something wrong with it.
