Nv4500/np241
From a`95.I bought both as crates and put in my`95,then wrecked w/15,000 miles. Here`s the problem. The upper/left corner of the case is broken out.It needs a new case.Or,if you have a hi-mile or inoperable trans, here`s the inner moving parts w/15,000 miles.Selling the unit for $800 or $600-trans/$300t-case.I was going to buy the case and use it.I`m selling-off everything that doesn`t go into the couple projects I presently have.Cost new:NV4500-$2,400+NP241-$800=$3,200.
Please respond on thread

It`s a hole. The area where it was mounted to bellhousing.Needs case, internals unaffected.I have the motor in my DD.
Mike,I edited my price.Sorry,I didn`t realize I posted a single unit price so low.The t-case alone is worth $400 easy.

Re: Nv4500/np241
The if I where only closer reply. My case is mint, but the inners are shot, what a perfect match, I would imagine that shipping would be killler. We have a 3500 HD with a brand new rebuilt NV4500 here at work that I was going to steal but I think that they would catch on. I bought a truck site unseen last year with a perfect NV4500 for $400.00, unfortunately when the truck was delivered the 350 ci engine coupled to the NV4500 turned out to be a 4.3 l, nv3500. We'll chalk that one up to experience.

Re: Nv4500/np241
I`ll try to get a camera on it.It`s a hole, can`t be repaired.I don`t have what broke out of it.I figure it`s good for a rebuild on an old trans or get a new case to use it.I need to call my Chevy parts guy and see what`s available. That NV4500 website doesn`t get into that.
