wiw ? blazer parts

i have parted out alot of trucks but only 1 4wd so i need a little help on prices.
i found a 70 cst k-5 blazer f/s and before i buy it i need to no what some of the parts are worth. the guy that has it quite driving it about 15 years ago because he had to many auto's on the road at that time. everything was working good at that time but alot of the parts may need rebuilt now. here are some parts i would like to get fair pricing on.
ft.and rear end he said they are orig. and it stayed in 4wd till you got past 20mph.
double wall top about a 7 out of 10.
auto. trans not sure if its a 350 or 400 np205 transfer case.
it had a orgi. 350 but rear seal went bad and he had a good 307 so he put it in .
i think the drive lines are worth around $125.00 for the pair.
thanks for any help on this.

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

The transfer case around $250-350 (maybe more)...in good shape. The adapter plate, another $150 +-.Tranny is probably still the turbo 350.Does it have a chrome shifter handle and still have the t case shifter knob?If it does,I might be interested in the shifter knob. The axles maybe $150 a pair if it has 3:73s.

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

Hey Bill, I picked up an NP 205 for a hundred up here, so I think it depends on the area. Also had a 203 thrown in on a deal, buying a TH400, paid a hundred.

Complete axles are around a hundred for each.

Good tubs could be around 500-750

Dbl wall top 200-500

Solid rust free frame might be worth a good buck...jmho

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

I sold a double wall top for $50 3 years ago, bought another this year for $50,
but that did NOT include the hatch, a good hatch can bring in some big bucks.

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

Just let me buy the carpet strips if they are in semi-decent shape! The PO for mine was supposed to find them and get them to me and never did, every once in a while I talk to him and ask, but it's been more than 2 years already.

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

I took two decent double wall tops to the dump a couple years ago. Not saying they aren't worth anything, but I wouldn't add anything for the top to the purchase price just in case. Those brackets for the interior brackets are worth $5 - $10 per bracket.
Have you seen the Blazer parts going on Ebay lately?? Talk about TOP DOLLAR!!

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

im not sure about the staying in 4wd until it gets to 20 but maybe that is because it has an np203 im not sure but it sounds fishy to me. if it is a th350/np205 i would say 350 as a combo. if it is th400/np205 i would say 5-00 as a combo

as for the axles i sold my last 2 sets for 450 a set

double wall top 50-100 if your lucky enough to find someone that wants it

307 is worth scrap weight

on a second note if the rear floor is 100% rust free ill give you 200$ for it

Re: wiw ? blazer parts

This is most likely going to kill you guys but I found a relatively rust free 72 blazer out here in CA in a junk yard. It will end up being crushed and I'm looking for stuff to chop off it to make some money. Bed floor is mint front to back but alot of work to remove by itself. The top is junk, and lift hatch is junk. No interior, no engine, no rear drive shaft. turbo 350/np 205, windshield frame looks to be rust free, bondo in rockers, and a little bit in the bed sides. I was thinking about saving the entire cowl down to the floor (factory air) and taking the entire rear clip from where the floor dips up to the back seat area back. Frame is rust free but front x-member is cut. Is there anything that I missed that I probably should not cut up?
