Re: engine swap update

ok i just need to vent al little i had a run in with murphy's law
quit working on my truck yesturday and all i had to do was fill it with coolant start it and tune the carb, figured i would have it done by noon today, WRONG!! first i had collant leak from lower hose , not so bad just lost half a jug of anti freeze, then i got that fix and filled to the brim with coolant, then we hit the starter and it snapped right off along with my starter(old style 3 bolt to bell housing, will come back to this later) but my starter kept running with the flywheel so i figured why not use the new style starter i had lying around, wouldn't work causethe nose of starter to big so i bought a gear reduction mini starter at the napa store on a good deal for $100 the style with no nose and bolts to block now i having trouble getting it shimmed right

here is a pic from yesturday at noon and a shot of my pig-sty of a tool box i cleaned it after pic

Re: engine swap update

I had a run in with old Murph as well. I changed my rear brakes a week ago and didn't realize I have a bad axle seals. Now I have to replace the seals and the brakes again.

Holy horns! Do you think you have enough horns on that thing?!
