I am posting this over here too because so many here have changed out to the 73+ front crossmember, like I have. I might be purchasing a set of new/used Bell tech drop spindles. The catalog says they are 3" drop. I have read a little difficulty with this drop on other posts. Will this spindle work with 15" x 6" steel wheels? I have heard some grinding is necessary for the 15" wheels to not hit. Is that only the 15" x 8" wheels? Educate me.

I have heard some people have had slight problem. Most of the time I have seen people grind a little off the bottom of the spindle and it is good. It really depends on the rim though.

Check it when you install and grind if necessary.

15x6's should clear. 15x8's will rub on the A-arm. You can trim the A-arm but I would advise boxing them after you do.

15x6's should clear w/o issue provided they aren't built w/some extreme custom back spacing. I used stock BS 15x6.5" van ralleys w/BellTech 3" spindles. I did not have to modify anything & there was no rubbing.
