help with my automatic and 205 leak issue
I tried a search, but I guess I suck at searching.
I have an automatic (700r4) and a NP205 in my 'burb. The tranny fills the transfer case with ATF. I must have a bad or missing seal between the tranny and the ATF, but I don't know where. I can't find anything on the internet and I want to have the seal in my hand before I start tearing it apart. If it makes a difference, it is the 1972 coupler meant for a TH350 between the 700r4 and the np205. Where is the seal? Is it in the rear of the tranny, in the coupler, or on the input shaft of the t-case? Does anyone know a part number?
