Pic needed of 4X4 standard trans hump
anybody have a pic of a 73 -87 high trans hump for 4x4? I need to see where the t-case shifter come through and mounts at. I have a non-4wd trans hump that I want to cut, bend, weld, and generally beat into submission so I can mount it in Draggin Wagon.
I really don't care what it looks like (I'll clean it up good and make it look decent), and I am a tight wad. I need to make do with what I have Measurements would be great, but beggers can't be choosers

im not sure that i have the "high hump" in my truck(85-4sp 4x4) but ill go out and measure it today, my digital camera is busted but i can take pictures with the phone and get them on here, the quality might suffer a little. but ill have them and the measurements up later if u wanna keep an eye on this.

NP205, NP203, NP208, and NVG241 all have different shifters that come up in different locations.

Crash, SWEET. you are the man! Just the ticket. It looks like a will have to form a flatter area and a "bump" where the shifter mounts.

Re: Pic needed of 4X4 standard trans hump
hey busted i know i was supposed to give this to you days ago but i wasnt able to get it on the computer until right now. anyway i made a diagram on paint for you, and it was too large to post on this page and i wrote notes and stuff on it so it needed to be larger, so i put it on a photobucket account, the login name is xchevytruckx and the password is bowtie sorry to make you have to go through all that. but if u login to it im sure it will do everything u need as far as measurements go. the pictures from my phone were about 1" by 1" so they wouldnt help at all. anyway
www.Photobucket.com login: xchevytruckx Pass: bowtie if you go to it, click the image and it will get larger, one more click and it enlarges to 100%. its the only one on that account. the number under the 4sp shifter oval is 7/8" and the width of the 4x4 shifter is 3.25 but it was slightly under 3.25" and the measurements while very close were put off slightly by the floormat. and as it says in the diagram the grey line was a string i put up to have a constant mark, theres a great description of everything i think you will need. let me know if i missed anything and i will try to add it or let you know tonight or tome afternoon, thanks -muggs
