Factory A/C System Out Of My 69 - SoCal

I have the factory A/C system from my 69 up for grabs. I was told by the previous owner that it worked great before he disassembled the truck and then I bought it. I have all of the brackets, compressor, the whole lot. I was going to color match the unit before I finally decided to go with an aftermarket system because I wanted a shaved firewall. Also, a few of the brackets have been painted to match my truck. I also have a brand new gasket kit to go along with it.

I have everything in the back of my truck, I can take pics of everything or individually, let me know.

I would trade it for a decent original tailgate for a 67-72 SWB...Dents/some rust is okay as long as it is not bowed.

$150 Obo - Pickup Only.

If you decide to ship then I have a decent tailgate. No handle or linkages but its straight. I will try to rustle up a pic this weekend.

Next in line if you will ship. Money only, no trade.

Re: Factory A/C System Out Of My 69 - SoCal

I had back surgery 5 months ago (fused L5/S1) and am still having problems, that is why shipping is really not a viable option right now. I can lift some of the smaller items but the compressor is too heavy...It is just easier to have someone pick it up....Sorry

Completely understandable man. Ive got a compressor but still id rather you not take a chance with that back. Get to feeling better!

I have an ancient after-market/dealer system, under dash vents. Could I somehow adapt this system to work on a non-AC cab? If it's not to difficult you have yourself a buyer. Let me know. I'm in the Valley (SF).

I am not sure how difficult it would be but if there's a will theres a way....A welder and cutting wheels can do amazing things

I am in Mission Viejo, just south of Irvine. I will try and get my Wife & Son to help put everything out so I can take some pics.

Mike

EDIT:

Here is the majority of the system, the condenser and a few other brackets and stuff are in a box on the other side of the truck that was hard to get to, I'll try to get them in the next few days. Also, I should have said all of the under the hood stuff along with the heater core and heat exchange inside (I think thats whats its called). I am keeping the vents and control unit.

Also, I think the middle bracket is my Alternator bracket and I need that.

Mike,
If for some reason whoever buys this stuff doesn't want or need the circled part, I do.

Obviously, I need shipping.......that's kind of a long parts run for me....

Thanks,

Misled
