2wd sway bar

is it uncommon to find a 2wd truck with a sway bar in the front? i got a 69 c20 this weekend and it has a front sway bar... i noticed a couple other trucks this weekend that didnt have them, were they just missing?

Re: 2wd sway bar

Not too uncommon, it was an option on these trucks. There was quite a few base models that don't have them.

Re: 2wd sway bar

I'd say take it off... someone will want it. The front brackets that are riveted on the frame too. You don't need the brackets but if someone wants to use them, you'll have them. Took me 15 minutes to drill out the rivets with a cordless drill in a junk yard.... no biggee.
