nos

what considerations need to be taken when building/buying a motor and planning on putting a 100 shot of nos on it....will any of the gm crate motors handle the nos? I am trying to figure out how to get the most bang for the smallest buck when getting a new motor for my truck and trying to go fast sometimes...........

the new n20 kits all say that a 100 shots can be used on a stock engine(in good shape) anything over 125-150 will require forged pistons atleast. I just purchased a kit I will be installing this winter..It is a little scarry

The biggest thing is to have pistons that can handle the extra pressures and make sure you supply enough fuel to keep it from running lean. Most people set their NOS systems so it actually runs a little on the rich side. You've always gotta introduce more fuel when you add the NOS in.

Its Not NAAWS its nitrus or nitrus oxide system. Make sure you have good heads or you will burn up the valves with anything over 100hp shot
