new windshield !!

well my windshield is white around the edge's but good otherwise and I thought about just using it but have decided to get a new one , called the glass place and it will be put in tommorow (MONDAY) hopefully by the time I get home from work it will already be in and I can put my inspection sticker and wiper's on !!! can't wait the new glass will look good with the new paint !!!

I live in Buchanan county VA town of grundy , southrust virginia !! as I call it because any vehicle that was unlucky enough to have been bought new by someone that lived here is rusted up to the door handle's frame's eat into two halve's windshield post's disentigrated floor pan's (FORGET IT)
I just got home and my new windshiled look's great !! after I get my sticker on it and the wiper's on I'll take a pic ,,

19673, Back in the mid seventies I worked in Grundy & Hurley during the UMWA strikes in the coalfields. Spent alot of time in that area with other mechanics working on heavy equipment & state troopers patrolling the mine sites.
BTW, that is one nice looking truck! Gotta be the best looking vehicle in Southwest VA.

I have done ton's of research and such to find out about the classic virginia inspection sticker's , I make them , I also have reproduction pink reciept's , if you have a vehicle registered in virginia with classic tag's you can run these reproduction one's leagal , if you want one PM me and I will send you one free , it's ok to give something away free on here ? isn't it ?

that's SOUTHRUST VA. (LOL) you got first hand look at the rust effect here , it was worse than the northern state's I tell you !!
yea hurley is just over the hill I live on lynn camp , remember the jack rock's like they made during those strike's ? no matter how they landed it was bad !

windshield looks GREAT! I can't find anyone here in F'brg that'll touch mine with a 10 foot pole!!!!!!!! Bastards! I would almost guarantee I lost out on a trophy this weekend because of the HUGE crack all the way down my windshield! Can someone PLEASE help a guy out?!

jeff as far as someone putting in the window I could have done it myself , my old glass is out here and it's not broke it's just white around the edge's ,

That is a great looking truck! I bet the new clear windshield makes you feel like driving a new truck. Mine isn't white around the edges but is scratched like someone drove through a bunch of trees and bushes.

I gotta agree with everyone on this truck. I love the looks of it. The contrast between the black paint, and the white grill and bumper looks fantastic. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like finished.
