Rear Suspension
My 67 has the original trailing arms and coil spring and panhard bar set up however over the years some one added leaf springs, i just wanted double chck that these are unoriginal as i plan on removing them tommorow. I would guess they were used as helpers for heavy loads as it was a work truck. Can anyone think of any possible reprocussions from their removal?
Thanks Blake |

Re: Rear Suspension
Are they mounted to the rear of the truck, and go to a pad mounted on the trailing arms/rearend? If so, these are factory "helper" type spring.
other will add in info....

Re: Rear Suspension
As you stated the springs attach to the frame and I would guess are helper factory options. If I were to remove them would it cause any sort of bad thing? I am on a saga to lowering it and they need to go...
