Help / Suspension Swap Question

Help please,
I have 66 Chevy pickup and a 83 suburban. I want to take the entire brake assembly to include control arms, spindles, master cylinder etc from the 83 and place it on my 66. Will this work?
No, I don't plan on destroying the 83, I have plans to make it into a off road vehicle.

A little late, but yes you can swap them from the '83 to the 66. You could also swap in the crossmember if you like. If you want to convert to power steering, you can buy an adapter and swap in the power steering box as well. Check out the 60-66 forum for details.

You can argue with me but you can't argue with figures. Two half nothings is a whole nuthin...
