Question Is it worth it?

I think the current bid is bogus. For a '72 with a Rockwell, closed knuckle front end, incorrect everything and a flatbed? Plus, apparently they couldn't find the masking tape when they painted it.

Re: Is it worth it?

It'd make a good work truck, not for 10k though. Nothing quite special enough to put it over the top. I like the tool boxes and the flatbed, but I think this is a case of sometimes just not getting back all of what you put in to something.

Re: Is it worth it?

Where did you get rockwell out of that? --looks like a 68- 69 closed knuckle dana 44. Lift blocks on the front are a huge no-no though.

Re: Is it worth it?

The bid id way to much for what it is. if it was an oriinal 4x4 it might be worth it

Re: Is it worth it?

Well, the truck body is a 72,the 4wd frame is a 69.72s didnt have Rockwells or closed knuckle axles so there is no way its a 72 drivetrain.
I'd say the person just dropped a 2wd body on a 4wd chassis they found

Re: Is it worth it?

the frame and running gear is 69--hence the closed knuckle 44 and rockwell transfer case. i agree-too much money.
