i got a 79 that i want to put it in and though of doing it that why how hard would that be

Actually that would be the best and easiest way to do it!
If you still have the complete donor truck then it's just a matter of removing the complete wiring harnass and engine and fuel lines and tank and installing it all in your '79. It's alot of work but not that hard. Plus you have a low maintenance & high reliability of a modern FI system in your truck. |

Its not even the complete harness as the ECM(PCM?) is on a stand alone harness I THINK.

thanks the 87 does have 2 tanks and the 79 only has one could i do it and keep the one tank
