flywheel/flexplate

Does anyone know if I bolt up a TH350 to a inline6 250 with the flywheel that was used with the old 3 speed? I was going to wait until my 350 was done but my 3 speed is giving me some problems. Any help?

pretty sure it is a no go.
Fly wheels are heacy thick and I have never seen one with holes for a verter...while a flex plate is thin and light duty in comparison.

u cant use a flywhell from a manual tranny on an auto. new flexplates are relatively cheap. u can get a stock one brand new for like 30 bucks at most parts stores

Thanks,
I just need to go and buy a flexplate then. Just wasn't sure and was positive that someone here would know.
