Wrong hood hinges?

The hood on my 78 c10 sits up about 1-1/2" at the back (by the windshiel) about the same amount on each side. I tried to adjust them down as much as possible but to no avail. Are they possibly stretched out or are they the wrong hinges. I'll post pictures if needed but I won't be able to do it until I get home from Santa Barbara on friday morning. Thanks.

Re: Wrong hood hinges?

Worn hinges, pretty common on these trucks. Some people slot the hinge mounting holes where they bolt to the fender, allowing the hood to sit lower. Some replace the hinges all together...your choice.

Hey, do you know if the aftermarket hinges are as good as the gm ones?
