I would PM you about this but I figured others may be interested in the info also. How do your new rear drop springs ride? How was the fit? Was the install easy, hard or average? I'm wanting to lower my truck, but the driver's side sags more than the pass. side, so a flip kit , shackles or hangers would lower but still be uneven. Did the new springs level the rear from side to side? It's hard to tell in the pictures.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Slonaker
The ride is about the same as it was before. I have the stock bump stops in place still, so I think it will ride better once I remove them.
It sits close to level left to right. You'll find a difference with a tape measure, but I doubt you will find a vehicle that sits perfectly level. It looks level, and that is what counts. The install was easy. I had never messed with leaf springs before, and it took a friend and I two or three hours to install them. There were no problems with exhaust, brake lines, or anything interfering. The only disadvantage I see with them is they reduce your load carrying capacity. I don't tow anything, but i have not had any trouble with a bed full of swapmeet stuff, or with carrying a 4X8 sheet of 1/8" plate someone gave me. I am considering geting some helper bags in case I do decide to tow something. I bought them from performancesuspension.com. They are made by Western Chassis. Slonaker |
