Re: Finally some pictures of the new porject!
It says '70 on the windshield, it also says $1500, neither is correct (I paid $1100).

FWIW someone said before that those air cleaners can catch on fire, and not to use them. s/t

That thing's big....I'd remove the body lift too,I don't like them on any vehicle.

Re: Finally some pictures of the new project!
Thanks fella's. When I said it was the "Super Redneck" edition, I wasn't kidding!
Yes, the air cleaner is gone and I will be getting the body bolt and bushing kit from GMC Paul's on payday to replace the body lift with new hardware. The only rust is in the drivers rocker and there is a smallish dent in the rear passenger bedside. The drivers door will be replaced soon and I think I can pound out the drivers fender. I am waiting on the carpet kit, then I will have everything to start the interior. I have a lot of wiring to do in the cab and the engine, that will be a slow process. I hope to have it on the road in a few months. It will be a long process, but I think it will be cool when it's done. <edit> I need to get a shot of the bear face rattle canned on the hood too.
