parts indentification

anyone wanna help me figure out what these items are and if i can keep them or not

here is what the interior looks like as of now



this is to the right of the brake pedal assembly.



this has a connection running to the stock speedo. i'll be replacing all the gauges including an electric autometer unit



oh, and here is what an the vent assembly looks like in cause you were curious

The green box is the VSS buffer. You will want to keep that, if you are running a lockup TCC.

2nd and 3rd picture are stuff for the cruise controll.

so i'm safe to get rid of all of that? most of the cruise stuff has already been removed anyway.

i'm trying to get rid of all that extra crap under the dash to clean it up some.

The third one. There should have been a flat plug and three wires running from that to the Speedometer. Those will need to be atttached to the new speedometer, or you will need some way to operate the TCC, other than the use of a VSS. Since your truck is carbed, the directions on Jeff's site to make the TCC work will be fine, providing you are still using a lockup torque converter clutch. If not, disregard all of that.

I hate working under the dash with all that crap. My Cherokee is even worse. Good luck.

haha, once all the extra crap that isnt needed is removed, its actually pretty damn simple under there. the whole interior is gutted now besides the steering column and the heater box. and all the wiring to both.
