Nope! Mine came with all three. Just need your intake, water pump, balancer, etc.

Re: GoodWrench 350 guys

its a great deal, however, they are made fairly cheaply. all the parts are made in mexico. there are significant quality differences between a stock chevy four bolt main block and a goodwrench one. but, they seems to do fine.

From what I heard and read they dont move enough coolant. They are made strictly for drag racing. Again just what I have heard and read.

Re: GoodWrench 350 guys

I have the same engine in my 72 4x4 and it has been great. I pull my travel trailer (25 ft.) with it and recently upgraded the heads intake and cam for more go. When this one goes I'll buy another just like it!

The rods are basically the production LT1 (not LT-1) rods - not known for being delicate, but sometimes set up a little tight on clearances.

Re: GoodWrench 350 guys

That is a good deal. I will still go rebuilt because Oregon Engine Rebuilders charges $950 with RV cam and an unlimited mileage lifetime warranty for any non-race application.

A friend of mine had his F*rd 460 built nearly 10 years ago by them for $1000. 3 years ago he had what sounded like a lifter going out, so the guy told him to bring it in. 4 days later he got the engine back fully rebuilt at no charge.

Re: GoodWrench 350 guys

I do not know about lifetime warrentee (how the H@LL do they make money??) But a stock 350 can be rebuilt with all new parts for under $600-700. Powerhouse sells a stock master rebuild kit for 350 for $250 (cast pistons, rings, bearings(rods/mains/cam) cam, lifters, oil pump, timing set, and gaskets for $250 ish. Then the machine work should be reasonable, $40 to R&R rods/pistons, $150 to bore, another $150-200 to redo heads. Looks like $700 total and they'll assemble it and offer a warantee for a $300 or so more. So ready to drop in with warantee for a grand. A crate is worth it if you don't have the time, patience, know-how or a block to start with. But for $1600 I can build way more than 260hp!! The powerhouse kit is infinately upgradeable. Want hyperutectic or forged? X# of $$ more, bigger cam, add X# of $$, premium bearings, etc, etc. I can guarantee you that the mexican built crate motors aren't put together with premium stuff, just average run of the mill parts. Heck our original 350 ran for 100, 200, 300 thousand miles and more and were put together with cast pistons etc. Do not be fooled by the price and warantee, build it yourself!!

My guess is he makes money because I know a lot of people who have engines he built and I know a lot more people who have recommended his work. It only covers the original owner/original vehicle as well.

He also builds a mean Toyota motor. I had a 22re and a friend (same guy with the 460) had the V6 both done by him.
