I'm Back On The Road!!!
Damn, I am so happy. After three months of work I accomplished the following:
1. Complete front-end rebuild with all the new parts (from Early Classic Enterprises) painted with two coats + a sway bar and brackets restored and painted from jostrans68 with all new hardware. All the old parts were wire brushed and painted as well. 2. Complete rear-end suspension rebuild with all the parts wire-brushed (including the springs) and painted with two coats + new bushings, U-bolts, and all new hardware (including spring clamps) from Early Classic Enterprises and LMC. 3. New KYB shocks front and back with new shock stud plates (thanks to Lost Wages) and new hardware. 3. Transmission cleaned and resealed front and back with a new extra-deep cast aluminum pan from Summit Racing and cork gasket and special filter. 4. New transmission cooling lines from Inline Tube (pre-bent OEM replacements). 5. New chrome oil pan + 1-piece Fel-Pro gasket for my '80 350. So far so good. Drove it to the alignment shop for front-end alignment. I also need two lug studs for the HO72 (which is going to be a b!tch because they have to pull the axle). I almost had a cow when the mechanic jumped in it and just took off to do a test drive without me going with him or even asking if it was ok....I'm a bit jumpy. It hasn't been off jack stands in 3 months! All the pictures I've collected are at the following link, but I'll include a teaser so I get the little paper-clip so people will look. LOL. Thanks for everyone's help. All my project pictures

pulling the axle isnt so bad, ive done it a million times on my 4x4 (HO52) all you do is take out 8 bolts on the hub, pull it out, take out 2 big nuts holding the drum on, pull that off
