Temp Sending Unit

Where would the temperature sending unit be on a 292? It is the gauge type, and I have absolutely no idea where it is hiding.

should be on the passenger side in the head. it is a wire that runs along the valve cover.

Right below the thermostat housing right below where the heater hose connects.
