Does anyone know

what year or model this carrier bearing setup (mount and bearing) came on? I'm trying to find a mount for my CrewCab as I'm guessing the bearing can be purchased at a local parts store. Thanks,

R

Re: Does anyone know

Rob , the Carquest no is BGS-HB88107-A ,and I know this because it is not the one for my 71 C-10. My bolts are inline with the drive shaft and my parts guy say's the only one he shows is the one above... Maybe I need to look closer at mine to see if it is a two-way?

Re: Does anyone know

I know parts stores carry them, they gave me that one for my '69 and it wasn't the right one, mine bolts up towards the bed. They normally show two different ones. The one for my truck was $10, the wrong one was like yours $30.00..I know this dosen't help much but they sell them at about any chain auto parts store I called.

Re: Does anyone know

that looks a lot like what was on my one ton... but it isn't made anymore.
just go to a drive shaft shop, they'll hook you up with something that'll work fine, and cost less. (unless that IS in fact the $30 one mentioned)

Re: Does anyone know

I had a 70 3/4 ton LWB truck that I picked parts off of that I needed before I scrapped it. It had a carrier bearing like that. Hope that helps some.
