Total Resto or DD/Mudder?

So the question is up to you ladies and gents,
Should I turn the Blue Dragon (pics added later tonight) into a daily driver and mud machine and leave it the "vintage" look (see below) or resto it nicely and completely? It is a 72 LWB 4x4 with cab lights and no tailgate...as it sits it was a $300 investment which I added a new carb, plugs, plug wires and a headlight too haha...still a rust bucket though.

My definition of vintage being...cancerous, dilapitated but running truck...with an oddly not working correct tranny and little to no brakes
