Tricked out Hoods

Any one have any pics of 69-72 hoods that have been modified, sectioned or pancaked? Not hood scoops or cowl induction more like 67-68 hood but to work with 69-72 fenders and grills.

Re: Tricked out Hoods

Will the 67-68 hood work on a GMC, since they use the 67-68 fenders?

Re: Tricked out Hoods

I know you weren't talkin about scoops but back in about 93 my uncle dean took one of these hoos and added the ram air hood scoops from a 68 firebird hood. It looked like it couldve came from GM that way i would love to have that now

Yep thats the one I remember seeing a year or two ago. I PM him about it but never heard back But I guess now he is no longer around here. I think this is one of the biggest mods you can do to a front end and have it look like nothing was ever done

Re: Tricked out Hoods

YIKES! Does that mean I'd have to do all that to put a 67 grille in a 72? Or could I put the 67 hood and grill on? If so, I may have a grill for sale soon...... hahaha.... ugh!
