WIW 1989 short step 4X4
Im thinking about selling this so someone else can deal with all of its little issues. It has a crate motor in it that uses no oil & runs great. AC blows COLD, power windows both work. I had the auto rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. I put a new battery, muffler, gages & a few other little details in it. It needs u joints, front cv shaft, a arm bushings, wiper card, gas gage fixed & other small issues. I have a brand new tank & straps for it but it needs to be put in. I also put the tires & wheels on it used. Body is good but the cab corners... Any idea on price?...

I need a cheap work truck, although with all the work you have done that's probably not a cheap work truck.
PM me when you do get a price.

What would you be looking for in trades?

Project car or daily driver? I have several GM engines & a couple of Th350 trannys for trucks too.

Re: WIW 1989 short step 4X4
If I trade it needs to be a running vehicle. It will have to replace the truck as a daily driver.
If I only needed a good engine, Id pull the crate motor out of the truck. I may have confused you by being honest about the trucks problems & made you think it was a parts truck. I dont like surprises when I buy a vehicle & I like people that buy mine to get the same treatment... |

Re: WIW 1989 short step 4X4
It's not too confusing, I'm looking for a cheep truck to pull my car trailer, and already have too many projects so I need one that needs little to no work done to it.
The only car I could possibly trade is my 81 Malibu 4 door that I have been using for my daily driver. It has the small V6 in it.

Re: WIW 1989 short step 4X4
1500 is cheap unless it is more beat or rusted than it looks. If you were closer I would buy it. If it runs and is dependable, 2500 minimum, depending on rust.

Re: WIW 1989 short step 4X4
timing is always wrong for me! if you still have it in about 30 days, I may be very interested in it! if your looking at trades,, I've got my DD a 94 dodge neon, that runs good.... has hail damage, but no body damage, if you want a fixer upper I've got a 94 chrysler concorde that needs a transmission, but not worth $1500 thats for sure....
