Where is the electric choke wired to on an Edelbrock 1406? Is it to a fuse that's on only when the key is on, such as the radio? Thanks,

Just read that the 1406 choke needs a full 12 volts; if you don't give it the full 12, it will run rich (sounds like what mine's been doing). Do all the fuse slots provide a full 12 volts? Thanks!

Yes all slots will be 12 volts. To make your choke work better purchase a oil pressue sending unit with 2 prongs on it and install it with a T fitting where your original one is(keep original also). Hook wire from fuse panel to one side--the other side to choke. This way choke does not start heating until engine starts and has oil pressure.
