will a high hump affect the linkage on a saginaw 4 speed

my truck was a factory big block truck and it has a high hump. will i have to remove the hump to make the saginaw work???? thanks

I was wondering about this also. I have the granny gear 4 speed, and just seen a saginaw in my area for 150 bucks.

it all depends.....You will have to run a really long shifter arm if you have a bench seat, and you will also have to do a little fab work because I don't believe they are going to make anything long enough. I just did this and it was no big geal but really cool when I was done. The only thing to know is that the shifter "throw" will be a little long from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th.

which sag?

465/420 are made by sag and munc you have to be more specific

not sure i know its the one with 3 rings on the shaft, hmm i wonder if i can cut my new shifter and and add piece under the boot so it doesnt look so "home-made"??
