Laugh all you want. Although my truck is a dd, I don't drive my Camaro much because it's already been rear-ended once. I don't want that to happen again, thank you very much. However, the day you start paying my insurance, gas, new paint, bodywork, and ALL other expenses associated along with the medical and mental health tx associated with the sentimental value it has, then that's the day I'll start driving it on a daily basis. Until then, it's too valuable to ME to use as a dd, or anything remotely similar.

if you dont drive it, its literly useless. vehicles were built with one thing in mind, to be used by someone. all the sweat and knuckle skin is an absoulte waste if it just sits there, no matter how pretty it is. ive worked every vehicle ive had into the ground. so what if they get mashed, it just gives you something to fix later.

I'm w/Brad on this one.

I drive my 74 everyday & was driving my 68 everyday until it was totaled when an older lady driving a spankin' new Caddy drove all the way down the pass side ruining everything.

The biggest struggle was getting the insurance to pay the amount necessary to cover the repair (parts replacement) costs. When I'm done, I'll drive my 68 again & use it as a truck.

My other RestoRod will see limited use just because I've owned it for 20+ years & it was stolen once already. Well that & the fact that it's been taking so long to put it back together this time..... I don't want to have to do it again (I don't think I'll be alive that long ).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
