A different kind of truck tilt---never seen this before

Have you ever seen this tilt before? It is built for our trucks. No key, correct length, uses stock intermediate shaft...kind of cool! Really clean, simple hookup with Koogel shift linkage. Is it a painted Ididit?

If you want it, I will sell it for $300 + shipping and include the Koogel linkage.

Is it from a car? Impala or cadillac maybe.

Re: A different kind of truck tilt---never seen this before

The linkage throws me- can't remember seeing it on a GM column. I wonder if the linkage isn't somebodys own idea. Otherwise, it looks like a '69 Caprice column to me. I bet it is a 7 position instead of a 5

Yes, the pic is sideways...note the mc position.

The linkage is aftermarket...Koogel (sp). Much easier for AT conversions, so you don't have to run all the stock frame brackets, connectors, etc.

Oops- '69 Caprice had the ign. switch on the column. '68 Buick Electra was on the dash

Re: A different kind of truck tilt---never seen this before

I think it's a car column also. It's more of a square shape around the area where the shifter goes in.

Re: A different kind of truck tilt---never seen this before

At first I thought this might be out of a late 60's / early 70's van, but all GM truck colums of this era had the shift indicator on the column itself. It's gotta be out of a car of some sort. I remember my '68 Buick GS had a column very similar to this.

Re: A different kind of truck tilt---never seen this before

it has to be aftermarket. they are the only ones that have bolt on lever for gear selector. the lever on the bottom of column that the trans linkage bolts to. i have seen them in catalogs but dont remember if ididit or flaming river. my guess is ididit. just because it came from a 72 doesnt mean it is factory now days.
