Newbie question
I am new here and am starting my first project a 1987 chevy scottsdale its a 3/4 ton. but one technical question i have is what is the difference b/t a k20 or a c20 i know the diff b/t c10 and c20 and such but what do the k and c mean?

2WD = C and 4WD = K. I believe those are the designations.

Yup, C is 2wd, K is 4wd.

Also for your info 87-88-89 old body style Cs are Rs and Ks are Vs i.e my 88 C30 old body style is really an 88 R30. The R or V will be in your V.I. number.
