Is the tranny crossmember pictured below, correct for a 72 pickup?

Its a pic i stole from ebay, for a 67-68 camaro, but it's exactly like the one that came with my truck.

Its A Camaro Member, I Just Put One On My Sons 67 truck,came of a 69 camaro.

That's interesting......I just sold my '68 Camaro with a 396 and a 4 speed. That doesn't look like any factory crossmember I have ever seen in the 1st gen Camaros. Was it aftermarket??? We have sure been going back and forth with crossmembers lately. It's an easy one.....if it's the width of your frame, and it sets the trans tailshaft/motor angle right, it doesn't matter if it's out of a ford/mopar/amc, it will work. This is why guys fab their own up all the time. You just may have to get creative with routing the exhuast pipes if you have headers.
