What are you needing to know about '65 & '66 Chevy K20 trucks? I have a few and may be able to answer your questions. Let me know if I can help. Tony |

Re: k20 help
Kris:
Thanks for the prompt reply. For resale and nostalgia, a 4x4 truck with factory running gear and engine/tranny combinations, are better for the purist, however if you are keeping it for yourself, go with what you like. I have a '66 K20 (BIGBLUE) with the factory 292 straight six and SM465, granny low four speed. It runs like a lumber wagon, but I could pull a ten-bottom plow with it. If you have the factory 292 and four speed, I would keep it, so you could install it if it becomes an issue at resale. With regards to the factory body badges, they do not produce the C20 emblems. I have found them from time to time on eBay and some of the other Chevy truck web sites. There are some good used ones out there for a good price. I don't think I have any in my inventory at the time. On the factory K10 and K20 trucks, there are no 4x4 emblems. They will be the same as the emblems on the C10 & C20 two wheel drive trucks. I hope this information is helpful and thanks for the inquiry. Tony |

Re: k20 help
Kris:
You must have a GMC or another emblem added, because the K10 & K20 in '64-'66 do not have any reference to 4x4 on the exterior, except the lock-out hubs on the front. Do you have a picture? Tony |

Re: k20 help
The K designation stands for four wheel drive. and that is the only emblem on chevys. I believe 63 and older has the four wheel drive made by Napco and they had a emblem.

Re: k20 help
Negative ghost rider! The '64-'66 Chevy K10 & K20 factory or Napco conversion 4x4 trucks, did not have a K or 4x4 body emblem. The only place a K is on the truck is on the factory VIN tag on the underside of the drivers door jamb. In 1964, 1965 and 1966, the C10 and K10 trucks and the C20 and K20 trucks had the same emblems. I do not have pictures of the C20 emblems for '64-'65 & '66, however they are the same as the C10, except they have a 20, in lieu of a 10.
The '64-'66 Chevy (I don't know about '60-'63 or GMC's) C10, C20, K10 & K20 trucks had the same emblems for the same year and series. |

Re: k20 help
Groovy. If we see what it looks like, we may be able to help you find one to match for the other side. Post a picture when you can.
