Anyone with a flipped 67-72 leaf rear, in here please...

What did you do exactly?
The C-Notch is available a few places, but I have only seen one flip kit available (SylinConcepts.com) and it is for 5".

I know the main thing to worry about is shock location and making sure everything centers back up correctly - so did you buy the brackets from somewhere to do this? If so, where?

Links?

I am really shooting for a 2/4 drop to get level and not too low...but spindles only come in 2.5" and I want it to be done right as possible, so I am not sure which way to go.

Thanks guys.

This may not help you any, but I've got a GMC leaf frame that has been flipped in the rear and notched. It's a home made notch but the flip kit is professional I think. If your interested you could talk to jkaylor68gmc about it. It came with a truck I bought from him a few months ago. I've been meaning to post it for sale but just haven't done it yet.

this may not help you either, but when I bought my gmc it had a leaf taken out and some lowered shackles.to me it would seem alot easier and cheaper to go that route for 4".

I was looking at my axle today and it appears the stock leaf spring perchs' would have to be removed also. I'm talking about the flat piece the springs sit on, looks to be welded on? Any thoughts?

I'll talk to Josh - I know him. Thanks, that does help.

Well, really all I found out was the only flip kit made for our trucks is apparently this one:
http://www.stylinconcepts.com/parts..../categoryid/30

There are c-notches left and right.

I suppose you could just flip it and see what happens, and then make your own stuff to get it lined back up.

Josh used a later model rear in his. It wasn't 2.25" spring width.
