Post Installed posi, but now have noises

I used the original shims. One of them I had to grind .005 off it on the opposite side of the ring gear. Now when I drive it there is a clicking sound inside the diff. and you can also hear a whine that sounds like a power steering pump. Any ideas. YES there is gear oil in the diff. with Limited slip additive.

You should have used a new set of shims, the whine is from the gear being out of alignment. The clicking could be from the clutches being worn. I would take it out and use a new set of shims. Just my opinion.
