hood hinges
I need a passenger side hood hinge for the 67 gmc. I have roamed the roads around here and can't find one from 67-72, but there are a bunch of later 70s models around. My question is: Is there a chance that these later 70s or any other year hood hinge will directly bolt in and fit our trucks? I thought about ordering new, but after the one member showed how crappy the new ones held up I want to find an older one of possible. Thanks in advance for any help.

You might want to check the classified sections. Some guys are parting out old trucks and can probably get what you want.

67-72s are the only ones that work for a bolt in application. They can be found at junkyards/swap meets etc. but most are usually worn out... You can get new ones from any of the board vendors, or used sets pop up on the parts forums from time to time.
